Show the Room as It Is Today
Name the rooms, approximate size, what is unfinished or being replaced, and any known water, structural, electrical, plumbing, or access concerns. If photos would help, attach them to the prepared email after it opens.

Tell Us What Must Work Better
Explain who will use the space, the activities it needs to support, must-have features, and which priorities are flexible. This is more useful than selecting a generic 'standard' or 'luxury' package.

Questions homeowners ask
What should be settled before work begins.
Can I ask about a kitchen or bathroom as well as a basement?
Yes. Choose the closest project type and describe every connected room in the project details.
Do I need final material selections before I contact J&J?
No. Share preferences or inspiration if they are useful, but begin with the existing space, intended use, and work you believe is involved.
Does starting an estimate request guarantee a date or price?
No. It starts a project conversation. Scope, site conditions, selections, approvals, and availability must be understood before project-specific pricing or scheduling.
Can I include photos with my estimate request?
Yes. Wide room views plus clear photos of ceilings, floors, stairs, utilities, fixtures, damage, and adjoining areas can make the first conversation more specific. Avoid sending sensitive documents.
Is the estimate form the same as the project planner?
No. The estimate form starts a detailed project inquiry. The basement planner helps organize rooms, features, conditions, and priorities before you send that inquiry.
